Heartisans Marketplace is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and unique gift shop located in downtown Longview whose mission is to provide a customized job readiness program to unemployed women living in the local community. Profits generated from the sale of our products, along with community donations, provide training and employment opportunities for program participants.
Our goal of increasing the employability and self-sufficiency of program participants is achieved through a community partnership with Longview Economic Development Corporation (LEDCO) as an ACT Career Ready 101 site. In doing so, we utilize a manufacturing business model. Heartisans’ products are handmade in our various manufacturing studios. These quality products, along with other sourced products, are available for sale in our retail shop and website.
Studios: Manufacturing, Sewing, Quilting, Embroidery/Vinyl Personalization, Artisan Craft, Letterpress Printing, Handwork and Basketmaking
