Delight's Journey

I talked to my caseworker at Hiway 80 Rescue Mission about placing me in a class to improve my computer skills to achieve a better job and was placed in Heartisans.  When I found out I would not have a computer, I became frustrated and thought I was in the wrong place. After attending a few times I realized I needed to be here, to meet different people and for support emotionally and spiritually.

Heartisans has really helped me to see that God has a reason for me to be here as it has been healing for me and taught me to have even more perseverance. I have enjoyed the women I have connected with. I would tell someone interested in Heartisans to never ever give up, trust that God can help you in any way and in any situation you are in.
